Claire Flatley, LCSW

Education: I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Utah Masters in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Experience: Since graduating from my Master’s program, I’ve been working as an outpatient therapist in community mental health with kids, teens, and adults with a variety of needs and abilities including Autism, ADHD, gifted, PTSD and complex trauma, anxiety, and depression.

Specialty/Extra Training: I became inspired by Play Therapy and its power to change lives, so I sought additional training in the specialty. I have over 180 educational training hours including Digital Play Therapy and Sandtray therapy training, and over 200 supervisory hours with an expert in the field and have met all the requirements for a Registered Play Therapist credential. I utilize digital play therapy (video games) as a means to use play therapy in this digital age.

Who I see: I see kids ages 3+. I often see Neurodivergent children and teens (ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, 2e, gifted, etc.) for therapy as many seem to enjoy the non-directive experiential approach more than traditional talk therapy.

Other Fun Facts: I also enjoy hiking, backpacking, mountaineering, climbing, crafting, and spending time with my bunnies and my senior dog Mae!

Mae, Co-Founder

I’m Mae the best co-founder a person could ever have! While she did not get to live to see the therapy space up and running, her calm and healing spirit lives on.
